OHIP Billing for Physiotherapy

SYMETRICS is now approved as a publicly funded clinic for physiotherapy services only.  This billing is processed directly to the Ministry of Health.

Requirements for OHIP Billing:

• Be insured under OHIP
• Referred by a physician, or nurse practitioner, for physiotherapy services and within one of the following categories:
  • Aged 65 years and older
  • Aged 19 years and younger
  • Recently discharged as an inpatient of a hospital, and physiotherapy required is specific to condition on admission.
  • Eligible for ODSP or OW programs
